Christmas is only in 67 days! It's crazy, isn't it? I am so excited for Christmas; it's my favorite time of year. Of course, I can't wait for Santa to come, either.
But the real reason for Christmas is because of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born to ordinary people, Mary and Joseph, signifying that Jesus came to save all people, no matter what political status they are in. Mary and Joseph were very poor. He was born in a humble manger, and the lowest of the low - shepherds - they were the first people God told the good news to. Jesus came to save us all!
God loves us all, and He wants everyone on this Earth to know the Good News that His son, Jesus, came to save all of us from hell. He went through the pain and suffering, and took upon the sins of the world on the cross. That is the Good News of the Gospel! That is how much God loves us!
So celebrate Christmas this year knowing that a humble baby in a manger was born to us. This is why we celebrate this Holy Season.
